1) What are your expectations for Print4All?

The new format developed by Fiera Milano in partnership with the major Italian associations operating in the printing industry (Grafikontrol is member of ACIMGA) offers interesting new ideas to approach buyers and brand owners from all over Europe. The event covers the three main vertical printing segments: Commercial printing and publishing; converting, package printing and labelling; and industrial printing. In addition, there will be the participation of the main digital printing players who will bring technological innovation into this branch. We are feeling a lot of energy in the converting industry, our sales and exports are increasing and the marketing support from Print4All can only boost this positive trend.

2) Why should industry professionals attend?

In one show the attendees can investigate all production processes, from extrusion through product finishing. Professionals from all industry segments will find a complete range of technologies. The major Italian and European machine manufacturers will exhibit their latest technology emphasizing improvements. Coming to Print4All can be also a nice experience once outside the show, Milan offers so many kinds of diversions from food to art to fashion.

3) What will be special or unique about this trade show and conference?

The long promoted plan by the top players in the exhibition industry and the location, Fiera Milano, makes this event one of the most important in Europe. Big investments were made in the organization and communication to promote Print4All. Considering the size and the participation, for sure it will be the most important congress in the Mediterranean basin. The show also provides services such as Institutional meetings, Seminars and workshops, business networking for professionals, all very important for a direct approach to people in the industry.

4) What will your company be highlighting and showcasing?

As Grafikontrol, we will exhibit the latest technology in print inspection. The entire TQC360 family will be on display. All the systems will be operating on a running simulator. We will showcase our Matrix system. The basic web viewing system is an area camera that moves across the web taking high quality snapshots of the running web. Our Lynex system is a true 100% inspection system with real time full print repeat viewing that can be used as a stand-alone or integrated with Matrix. The Lynex- S is a print inspection system for gravure, flexo, offset, wide, narrow web and neutral film. The Lynex C/S has been designed to inspect coating, varnish or cold-seal on printed or base substrates. We will be showing our ChromaLab which is a real in-line spectrophotometer designed to monitor the colour trend of all printed colour. We will also have our Procheck system for tracking and removing defects from the printed rolls.

5) What else are you looking forward to seeing, learning or being a part of at Print4All?

We hope that this show will become one of the major references for the printing industry in the future, focused mainly on the Mediterranean countries. It could easily become the alternative to drupa for the years between the editions. 2018 will be the inaugural event. If things go as expected, we will see increased growth and more attention from foreign machine manufacturers.
