ICE 2019 – Trends & solutions for the converting industry

GERMANY • In less than four months, the exhibition for paper, film & foil converting will, once again, take place at the Munich trade fair centre. From 12 – 14 March 2019, converting specialists will be able to discover the latest technology trends and innovative converting solutions at the stands of some 430 exhibitors from 25 countries.

The most important trends at the show will be digitalisation, sustainability and individualisation of products. With its specialised exhibition profile covering all key areas of converting, ICE Europe 2019 offers converters a comprehensive choice of machines, equipment, materials, accessories and solutions to upgrade their production processes and respond to the current demand for sustainable, individualised products and efficient production solutions.


Special film & extrusion area

For the first time, ICE Europe 2019 will present its visitors a dedicated “Special Film and Extrusion Area”. New manufacturing processes and converting techniques enable the production of special films with versatile functions, allowing a wide use in a variety of areas, such as medical technology, smartphone manufacturing, security technology, battery electrode manufacturing, healthcare products and construction.

ICE Europe Awards 2019

For the second time, ICE Europe will acknowledge best practice, technological performance and exceptional innovations in the converting industry with the ICE Europe Innovation Awards. Prizes will be awarded to the winning companies in an official ceremony at ICE Europe 2019. Exhibiting companies can participate in the competition with their innovations in four different categories: “Digital Converting Solutions”, “Sustainable Products and Manufacturing Processes”, “Efficient Production Solutions” and “Special Film Innovations”.
