FTA Europe – Diamond Awards 2018 to be held next May in Milan

ITALY • The banquet and gala celebrating the awarding of the 2018 FTA Europe Diamond Awards will be held at the hotel Barceló in Milan on Wednesday 30th May 2018 during the Print4All Fair.  After a successful first edition in Dusseldorf in June 2016, with over 230 participants and 30 flexo companies awarded for their works, FTA Europe will continue to celebrate the best of flexo printing.

Following national-level awards, those winning 1st place will participate automatically in the European FTA Europe Diamond Awards. In 2016, 10 categories were awarded, plus the Best in Flexo (the best sample among all the categories).

In 2018, some new categories will be added, increasing the number of companies that will be awarded as well as the quality of the event. The announcement of the companies selected to participate in the Awards will be communicated in late March 2018, after the jury meeting and evaluation. This guarantees that the whole evaluation process will await the end of all the national awards taking place between November 2017 and March 2018. The new winners will be added to the ones who also received recognition in late 2016 and beginning of 2017. All together the approximately 120 contestants will compete at the FTA Europe Diamond Awards 2018.

Currently, registration for 2018 remains open. Different types of sponsorship opportunities are available for companies, and participants can also book 10-seat tables and single tickets. Delegates from companies, national associations, media partners and stakeholders involved in the flexo community are invited to participate in the Diamond Awards, which are designed to shape and foster the quality of printing flexography across Europe.

Companies interested in sponsoring the Awards or in booking a 10-seat table, as well as individuals interested in purchasing single tickets to attend the ceremony can contact their national association or Luca Conti at lconti@fta-europe.eu
