USA • MacDermid announced it plans to preview its newest additions to its Lux In-the Plate (ITP) platform at Infoflex later this month in Fort Worth, Texas. What the company calls Flat-Top Dots out of the Box is adding two options, Lux ITP 50 and Lux ITP C.
INDONESIA • The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES) and the International Color Consortium (ICC) announced the presenters and sessions for the Color Management Conference to be held on 17 March in Jakarta.
USA • Smithers Pira announced that the Digital Print for Packaging conference is heading to Chicago, IL from 7-8 September. The 2016 program will show brand owners, converters, printing equipment suppliers and packaging designers how they can capitalize on this quickly evolving technology.
LUXEMBOURG • Doneck Network announced it will be taking part in Proflex for the fifth time in 2016. Its German-speaking sales team will inform trade visitors at the exhibition booth in Stuttgart about its latest products and innovations, including its certification to DIN EN ISO 22000 Hygiene.
TANZANIA • Flexofit GmbH of Germany is holding its Pre-drupa Flexofit Seminar in Dar Es Salaam on 17 March. International industry experts from Chespa, Du Pont de Nemours, Esko, Renzmann, Tesa and Windmöller & Hölscher will present insights and developments around the flexo printing process and products.
DENMARK • Vetaphone’s CSO Jan Eisby praised everyone involved in making 2015 a record sales year at the company’s annual agents’ seminar and rewarded its three best performing agents at a celebratory dinner in Koldinghus, the last remaining mediaeval castle on Jutland.

GERMANY • Flint Group held its traditional customer event, Flexo Round Table, in November 2015 in Damme, Lower Saxony, and Fichtenau, Baden-Wuerttemberg. The company presented its new rotec Lightweight Sleeve to the conference members, a record 120 participants, before it was launched to the market.

RUSSIA • Comexi exhibited its latest technology at the 24th Upakovka Trade Fair, held in Moscow from 26 – 29 January. Comexi said visitors showed great interest in the flexo and offset lines, as well as in the new Comexi Nexus L20000 laminating machine, developed in collaboration with HP.
The event also enabled the company to demonstrate its solutions in the North European market, where the flexible packaging industry has great potential
USA • The Association of Postconsumer Plastic Recyclers (APR) recognized Constantia Flexibles and The Coca-Cola Company at the APR Plastics Recycling Showcase held on 1 February in New Orleans.
