Something that can be said about drupa is you never run out of things to look at, new novelties to discover or innovations to explore. And while that is the point, with 17 halls of printing technology, it can be very easy to experience sensory overload.

GERMANY • Harris & Bruno International (H&B) announced they will demonstrate three Excelcoat coaters, a web coater and various chamber systems in OEM presses at drupa. H&B’s chamber systems apply UV, soft touch, AQ, matte and other coatings with particulates. Various levels of automation are available delivering quick changeovers between UV & AQ.

GERMANY • W&H announced it will present new machines for flexographic and gravure printing at drupa in Hall 15, Booth A41. For gravure printing, it will unveil the Dynastar with its central idea of the changeable cylinder concept with slide-in carts. The machine was developed for short print runs lower than 3,000 metres.
