SPAIN • The company has developed the Cingular Match program that offers automated color adjustment through equipment integrated into the printer.
The system allows the operator to calculate the amount of ink needed for a job, potentially reducing ink waste. Along with Cingular Match, a printer receives technical advisory services and specific training in machine characterization to help obtain a higher print quality. This training also includes assistance in implementing management and adjustment of direct colours outside the machine with the aim of avoiding the correction of colour on machine, thus increasing the overall efficiency of the printer.
Through the company’s Manel Xifra Boada Technological Centre(CTec), Comexi also offers fixed pallet printing implementation and advice, focusing on heptachromy – to achieve increases in production efficiency and quality – while reducing ink inventories. The training centre also organizes technical seminars of colour, which are periodically developed in the facilities of the same technological centre, or are adapted to be made directly at the clients’ plants.
Since its creation four years ago, nearly 600 professionals have been trained in the courses of the CTec. The University of Girona accredits all the technical seminars as specialization courses.
