Windmöller & Hölscher
In 1869, Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) was founded in Lengerich, Germany, as a manufacturer of paper-based cone shaped bags and capsules. Already in 1878 the company turned into a supplier of printing presses for sheets and bags. For almost 150 years, the company has been demonstrating its capacity for innovation and is today one of the leading suppliers of machinery and systems for the flexible packaging industry. The corresponding product range is structured into the three business units “Extrusion”, “Printing” and “Converting”.
The current product portfolio consists of high performance machines and systems and the respective services. This includes blown and cast film extrusion lines, presses for flexo and gravure printing, winding systems, surface finishing machines, paper converting machines, and also film and woven plastic processing machines. In addition, the company also offers FFS (form-fill-seal) bag making and packaging systems.
Windmöller & Hölscher equipment and systems are currently in operation in more than 130 countries and at more than 5,000 plants. To offer customer services according to individual needs and to ensure smooth operation, the company runs 23 sales and service locations worldwide with around 350 service technicians. In 2017, the company gained a revenue of 835 millions (EUR).
